Jewelia is very original Swifty, meaning if you are a die-hard Taylor fan this may be able to be your new fix. This latest track ‘Second best’ covers a very unusual and often avoided topic, being that not everyone needs to be above average, it is, in fact, ok to not be ‘The best’.

Featuring beautiful, simple beats, amazing layered vocals, and epically subtle but important keys, laced between nostalgic guitars, this track will have you happy and content in that being average is the norm and nothing to be sad about!

Cherry Thomas – BARBEDWIRE – United States, Salt lake City – 31/10/22

It is rare I find a track and am left gob-smacked but this is what happened with this latest track from Salt Lake City, United States artist Cherry Thomas. From the second the track began I was launched into a world of sensory explosions, where deep bass, soft disco strings, and eloquent gorgeous vocals ring through the airwaves. It did not take much to have me hooked and waiting on each and every syllable. Discussing the topic of mental health in a relationship and the impacts that can have this track not only shares an important message but does so with finesse!

Number 7

Baaj & Baaj – Sweet Earth – France, Cognac – 04/11/22

Time to change it up a little again with French artist BAAJ&BAAJ. This multi-instrumental artist has provided hauntingly melodic vocals over a simple but intense key heavy backing track. Featuring a variety of highs and lows which complement the story of the topic so perfectly and really accompany the enticing vocals exquisitely. It is evident there is a great influence of Britpop in this one, which is an amazing thing to have, as this creates a great uniqueness within its genre. Sweet Earth is an experience that all people need to be part of to totally understand!
