Spotlight Release Review | Frank Joshua – Five Minutes (Jon Kennedy Remix)

Read Time:1 Minute, 13 Second

United Kingdom, London

On the 14th of October, the world was blessed with a great release from the extremely talented London-based artist Frank Joshua. ‘Five Minutes’ has to be the most eclectic track as it relates to when it is best listened to. Being the perfect moulding of trip-hop and pop, this is perfect listening for those needing to chill, dance, or contemplate.

As we are introduced to the topic of the track immediately, the words ‘Five Minutes’ are uttered in a deep sensual voice as a smooth snare kick into action and we are taken on a journey. Throughout the progression of the track, we are welcomed into the fold by some beautiful vocal layers, that enable us as listeners to feel safe singing along and becoming a part of this gorgeous choir. The subtle cymbal usage here is so effective, they’re so well included at times you lose sight of what they are and they can become almost considered maraca-like. The sounds melt together to form a beautiful combination of calm yet intense emotions within the listener, with an unparalleled ability to maintain the listeners’ attention with ease. I can see this exploding and would say get in and be the one to have shared it with your friends, we all like the ego boost of having been the first to share something, everyone loves!
