Spotlight Release Review | Haley Fishberger – Home (305)
United States, Los Angeles

We may have been late to the party, but there is never a chance we would not be excited to share with you one of the United States, Los Angeles’s finest in the form of Haley Fishberger.
This epic artist first appeared on our radar back in October 2022 with their release ‘Sweetheart’ which was an amazing track that gained our attention in quick succession, but now we have been reeled in once again with their latest release ‘Home (305)’.
Having written this latest release while on a plane moving from Miami to Los Angeles, it is all about the reminiscence of one’s roots, but more than that, it is written for those that may be missing theirs.
This track is one that comes across as extremely personal, one where as a listener it can be imagined as being the soundtrack to the movie you make in your mind (here’s me hoping everyone does that too).
But if we look into the track itself it is one that could be seen as a more emotive Gabrielle Aplin, so if that’s your bag this is certainly for you. This is something in our view very much missing from the mainstream at the moment and maybe Haley could be the one to bring this back.
There is a simple piano that holds the rhythm of the track with a luscious violin piece woven between the notes, played extremely well by Hannah Wyatt. This combines together to provide the backing for those gorgeous vocals that gave us goosebumps again, just as we had in October. Some of the notes reached in this song are astronomical, with our favourite being the one held at 1.36, if you listen to nothing else of this track get to that point and tell us that is not pure unadulterated talent!
Haley really has been pushing her talent to the next level and frankly, we can’t wait to see what comes next!
