Today we are super excited to be able to share with you a wonderful talent from the great city of Dublin. This moody track conveys a beautiful message of struggling under the weight of your own ambition and the emotional, mental, and physical effects that has on a person.
Thankfully with this track, we have been taken on the journey with the artist through all the thoughts, feelings, and outcomes that result from such a destructive situation with the use of dreamy, yet deep vocals delivering some amazingly catchy lyrics, which will certainly stay with you for the rest of the day! These vocals are laced over a beautifully simple backing beat, which provides an almost bouncy feel, almost setting the scene of contradiction, which if we were to deeply analyse this could be seen as the need to continue to progress through those thoughts and feelings.
As we move on the synths become a prominent factor which adds another layer of upbeat feel to this track, working against the previously mentioned moody vocals but also adding a strong 80s feel to the piece. As this track ends, there are sounds used that provide the feel of an internal scream, which is a nod to the excellence of the production of this track. Every single element seems to have been well thought out and considered before being meticulously crafted into the necessary and rightful place.
This has honestly been a pleasure of a find and it is amazing to know that ‘Heavy Feelings’ is only the start for producer Lights DC.
