Spotlight Album Release Review | The Fades – Night Terrors

Read Time:1 Minute, 39 Second

United Kingdom, London

For all the bad Covid brought I have to say that music talent flourished and today is no different! We are super excited to share with you an amazing band with an even more amazing album release. South London band, The Fades, have come together to bless the world with some epic garage-rock tracks that are set to become the next Sabbath, Motörhead, Led Zepplin-level classics! The latest Album release ‘Night Terrors’ features 10 mind-melting tracks that will have you up and head banging in no time, failure to do so may mean you are either comatose or dead inside!

These 10 new tracks featuring intense guitar segments, outrageously catchy lyrics, and technically elite soundscape combinations do not hold back! From the first track ‘The Time Is Right’ we are introduced to some heavy drums, epic guitar shreds and deep base, and an overall mashup of pure talent! This standard is maintained throughout but with the addition of anthem-level lyrics on every single track! It is rare that an album is released with so many tracks where every single one hits the spot, but this has been managed here and I have never been more impressed!

My favourite track, despite loving each and every one of them, is midway through and titled ‘People in general.’ This track utilises highs and lows to convey not only a message and lesson we all need to learn but controls the emotions of the listener, paired with the ad-lib section where that South London accent appears so strongly it left me clinging on for more!

So, for infectious lyrics genius, face-melting guitar shreds, and head-raging drum segments get over and listen to The Fades’ latest album ‘Night Terrors’ either digitally or if you’re feeling fancy or just want to own something unique before it blows up grab yourself an eye-catching green vinyl in a gatefold sleeve with distinctive artwork by London artist Jimp!
