Spotlight Release Review | Madison Deaver-Wicked

Read Time:1 Minute, 18 Second

United States, Los Angeles

I have said it before and I will say it again there is a reason Los Angeles is known for talent, it is not just that everyone gets famous and moves there, it’s the fact there has to be something in the water because talent like Madison Deaver exists!

When my ears were blessed with listening to their latest track, ‘Wicked’, I knew it was time to get writing! I am rarely able to be transported back to my skater days, listening to evanescence, flyleaf, and even more rarely Eyes Set To Kill, but Madison achieved just that. I felt the nostalgia flow through my body, so much so it almost had me believing my back would allow me to skateboard again, but that’s another story!

Released on the 28th of October with co-writer Una Jensen, this latest pop-punk release features some epic vocal ranges where Madison’s talent can be fully experienced, enjoyed, and rightfully appreciated; dramatic keys, that subtly capture our emotions; explosive drums, that have us ready for battle and guitars that will melt your soul. Every element from the recording to the production has been meticulously placed together to the highest of standards and it really shows. Everything about this track needs to be heard so I very much suggest you have a listen and come to the dark side with me, while we wait without patience for the upcoming album that is set to follow in 2023.
