Spotlight EP Release Review | HWDU – Better You Than Me

Read Time:1 Minute, 30 Second

United Kingdom, Swansea

Do you know what makes a week great for a reviewer or music site? Finding outrageously amazing talent and that is exactly what happened to me a few weeks ago when I came across Swansea, South Wales band HWDU and their latest EP release ‘Better You Than Me’, but you may be asking why?

Well, let us keep it simple here because another piece will be going out shortly with a full review, keep watching out for that! But long story short, there is only one thing more enjoyable than mind-melting guitars and extreme drum segments, leaving you with a brain shake from the uncontrollable headbanging, and that is when it is coupled with epically sing-worthy vocals!

Realistically what I am saying is this EP has it ALL! Not a single thing is missed, not a single stone left unturned when it comes to the soundscape or production quality of this amazing heavy rock six-track release. What this four-piece has created really needs to garner the recognition it deserves, so be the first to let everyone know about the latest talent coming through the ranks soon to be played in Crowleys, Scruffy Murphys, UPRAWR, or any other rock bar or club in between!

Only one track can be found on main streamers for the moment, but they are all soon to join, in the meantime, check out ‘Machine’ on Spotify with the rest available via the Bandcamp link below! Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to be blown away and watch out for the up-and-coming EP review soon to follow! This is a journey Principle Music is ready to be on through to the end!
